Stephenie,

If you go into the "app mappings" area - same place you go to fix the .htr
problem - Properties >> Home Directory >> Configuration - then choose the
entry for .cfm and click on "edit". You can check the "Check that file
exists" option and then IIS will send missing CF templates to your custom
404 error page.

these are shared hosting servers, so i do not want to set one template for
the whole server...i was hoping that i could have iis handle it the same way
it does for htm files....

Hello Stephenie,

As of version 4.5 you can set this is the ColdFusion Admin under "Settings"
then find "Site-wide Error Handler".

hi listers!
this is kinda off topic, but it is cf and server related so i am hoping
someone can point me in the right direction...
in iis you can setup a custom 404 error page...this works great with a 404
error generated from an .htm call, but if a cfm file is not found, the
custom 404 page is not displayed, just the generic 404 error....
how can i make this work for cfm pages?
