If you want to implement any kind of decent security, use NTFS. You will
also use a lot less hard drive space with NTFS. The only reason you might
want to use FAT is if you set up two partitions, one for your system
partition, one for your files, so that if you have a crash you can access
the boot files from DOS. Otherwise definitely go with NTFS. You can always
convert from FAT to NTFS though, even after you have installed.

I am going to setup a Win2000 server today. It sounds like the NTFS is the
way to go if you are using IIS. Has anyone had experience switching to
this? It sounds pretty simple. That is why I am a little bit worried.
Any advice for staying with FAT versus NTFS?
