There is a custom tag 'FusionADO' in the tag gallery that does just what you
want.

Subject: Cfobject question
I was just wondering if anybody has ever used the ADO objects with
<cfobject>? I was just wondering what troubles/problems they experienced or
even good things they experienced?
I don't mean this to be too open ended a question, sorry. I'll give an
example of what I'm thinking. If I want to get into the schema of the DB
with ADO or open one connection and run a few different recordsets without
having to reopen connections like with CF. These are just a couple things I
was thinking of.
Thanks!
