Hi All apologies as this is slightly OT. I posted this a while back and got a few suggestions but i'm still having the same problem! I have restored a development back up of a database on my production server but i cannot query any tables not even the sample ones. I keep getting the error 'base table not found invalid object named <tablename>' i have checked that i am using SQL authentication, the correct username and password have been entered into the administrator and it verifies the datasource with no problem. I have installed service pack 3 still no joy.When i backed up the database i backed up all database objects. I've checked the spelling, opened the table in enterprise manager and its definetly there.
