Hi there;
has anyone experiences with the advanced security feature of CF.
I posted this topic many times on a german cf list, but didn't get any
responses.
So I think, this topic is hot.

Here are the facts:
I have a production server running on WINNT/IIS 4.0 with CF 4.0.
There are many sandboxes configurated and work correct.
So I tried to migrate the system to another server with CF 4.51 SP 2.
The advanced security works. A test with cf authentificate is working
correctly. But the sandboxes do not work.
E.G. if in the "ressource" CFML the cf directory tag is enabled for special
user under a special context,
the sandbox (e.g. D:\inetpub\htdocs\applicationdirectory) for the same user
and context doesn't close, if you are making a cfdirectory to the C Partion!

All configurations of the sandboxes are the same as on the 4.0 maschine. I
tried the sideminderservicepacs and studied all Knowledgebase-articles to
this system. After all I gave up and hoped for CF 5.0 "wonder".
But now the same problem/result ocurs. So I think, a security, that works
sometimes, e.g. under 4.0 but not under 5.0 is no security.
I have many customers on this machine. They put their files on the server
over share access.
So this solution without the advanced securuity feature is not possible for
me to run in a multy-customers environment!

I spent days/weeks in this problem. So if anyone managed a sandbox on 4.51
SP2 and higher to work correctly,
please answer.

Greetings/ best regards Frank Winkelmann
