Thanks. Yes the article was helpful if only in that it showed me that
there is a technique that can be used. Admittedly, I'm not a JavaScript
writer, but these words from the article gets to the heart of what I want to
do: "One possibility is building adaptive forms that change as the user
fills them out. The option chosen from a select box could be sent to the
server immediately for processing and data to populate a second select box
could be returned."
Unfortunately, I am not experienced enough in JavaScript or the complex
workings of Client-Server date/time manipulation to make sense of the
example. Thanks for your help. I'll try to bone up on JavaScript but in
the meantime I'll be looking for alternative approaches.
