I have used this successfully. It does not have the spell checker that
the others may have, but it is free.

Cheers!

Subject: activedit versus htmlarea

has anyone on this list ever purchased activedit from cfdev.com or
htmlarea
from iautomated.com?

Basically this is an html editor that you can place within your
forms. Both of the products look very professional.

I am at the point where I think I have enough customers to make this
purchase worthwhile. One of the issues I have is price. While I can get
activedit for a cheaper price initially it is going to cost me more in the

long run. I have contacted them and they do not seem to be interested in
selling me an unlimited domain license. But while I can get htmlarea for
the cheaper price, they have not been too responsive with the 3 emails
that
I have sent. Plus, their site seems to be down today.

I have a feeling that once I purchase this I will probably not need any
service.

So, has anyone purchased either of these products? How about a 3rd party
product not mentioned? Something that does not use activeX and works on
Macs would be good too.

Thanks,
kaigler
