Howdy, Our local CFUG leader posted the below msg to our group list. I believe this problem of extraneous characters suddenly showing up was raised here (or on the CF-Talk list) a few months back, but I have no recollection of what the solution was. Has anyone else encountered this problem and solved it?
Our CFUG's server is running NT 4.0 SP 6a and CF 5.0. If you navigate to http://samcfug.org you will see some extraneous text at the top of the page. it will not allow logins for some reason The following has been tried: 1. re installed NT option pack (IIS 4.0) 2. complete virus scan with norton AV (current update) 3. file compare of the web site files to see if any have changed. (no joy here) 4. complete scan with a trojan scanner. Does any of you NT gurus have any ideas of what setting or files got changed/corrupted that gives this result? And if so, what are the steps required to fix the problem?
