That is what I tried last night, 5.0 shareware version
from tucows. It appears to offer no menus for getting
at config options, which confounded me to the point of
just looking elsewhere. I then tried the PWS option
with the modified dll for MTS that MS recommends, and
that is what crashed the machine.

Apache requires you to compile it first, which means
having a c compiler which means.... I just want to
test some simple code, there has got to be a better
way. Anyone use O'Reilly WebSite Professional for
ColdFusion Server on a Win9x platform??
