I actually just went through this, it seems to run fine as long as you have MDAC 2.7 RTM and the Framework installed. If you run into problems the first thing to check is that all the .aspx extensions and the asp.net dll was properly installed onto IIS. That was the only problem I came across - if you have that problem I have a batch file with all the switches to run on your .net install to make sure they all get put in the MetaBase.
