All directories that contain .cfm files, require SYSTEM permissions. This is set automatically when CF installs, but does not take care of the Inetpub directory.
All services should run under the SYSTEM account as well to avoid problems getting services to load and run. Disable all unused or non-essential services. Be very careful about giving users admin rights on any directory. ================================ This address is filtered through the open relay database at http://www.ordb.org and is virus scanned by ANTIVIR http://www.dwhite.ws mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Byers" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Server" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, August 14, 2002 4:53 PM Subject: RE: Win2k and Users/ cfservice > I just started exploring this recently.
