First, this won't be a trusted connection. When you create a trusted
connection, the process connecting to the database (in our case, the CF
server) will authenticate itself via Windows authentication. Second, when
you create an ODBC system DSN, the username and password isn't stored within
the DSN itself, but rather within the client application that uses the DSN
(again, the CF server). In CF 5 and earlier, when you create a DSN within
the CF Administrator, this not only creates the DSN but also stores the
username and password within the ColdFusion registry key.
