Same difference as regedit.... Shut down CF, then edit the CF.Registry file (make sure make a back up first). Once you've edited the registry file, start CF back up again.
The reason for shutting CF down before you edit the registry is that CF will write the copy of the registry it has in memory back to disk on shut down. This means if you change the file, then shut down and restart the server, your changes will be lost. (confused the hell out of me for a while!) The key you want is : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Allaire\ColdFusion\CurrentVersion\Server\EnableC FREGISTRY - set this to 1.
