We run MX through Apache 1.3 on Win2K Advanced Server (SP2) and it
appears faster. But I have no evidence to support it.

So does anyone use Apache on Windows 2000 Server? Is it more stable
than IIS 5.0 was? Does it feel faster (Load Testing?)?

I found out about adding SSL via one of the newsgroups so that's not a
problem anymore.

Sorry if this is opening up a can of worms!

On W2K Server how is the combination of Apache 2 / CF MX vs. IIS /
Apache? Is it more stable than IIS? How about performance?

Has anyone been able to add SSL functionality to Apache 2 Win32? How
difficult is it to compile this support in?

Frankly, I've been having metabase and crash/stop errors with IIS 5.0
and don't need the ASP side of IIS. I'm going to download the win32
Apache and start playing around with it.

Has anyone done performance comparisons of (Linux / Apache / CFMX) vs.
(Win2K / IIS / CFMX) on the same hardware box hitting a SQL Server on
another box?

Sorry for all the questions but I just found this mailing list :-)

TIA

aydin
