jBase is a multivalue database based on the PICK OS. You can develop client/server and web-based applications around jBase. CFML is similar in that it's a development language, but ColdFusion is not a database. jBase is like a complete package - data storage and app development tools.
To make a very pedestrian comparison - using CF and a DB like SQL Server in combination is more analogous to using jBase. I've been writing CF based web apps around the jBase architecture for a while now. I can tell you jBase isn't the friendliest solution out there. -----Original Message----- From: Vicki Fairchild [mailto:vfairchild@;FundRunner.com] Sent: Wednesday, November 06, 2002 10:46 AM To: CF-Server Subject: CFML vs jBase Does anyone have any information on how coldFusion compares to jBase?
