We upgraded from CF 5 to CF MX yesterday - and eventually, after working
out that the MIME mappings of CF5 had been left in place, we got CF MX
working. It's running on NT4.0 SP6a with IIS 4.

Today, we tried to install the Updater software (cfmx_updater_win.exe)
from Macromedia so as to protect against the recently announced
vulnerability. This corrupted and completely stopped IIS and CF - so we
stripped it all out and started again. it's now back running but without
the patch

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to install the security
patches without installing the Macromedia Updater and trashing the site
again?
