You should be able to backup your IIS meta data uninstall the
lockdown tool. Restore you meta data then run lockdown 2.0. What does the
newer lockdown give you that the old one does not? If I remember correctly
the only addition was URLScan if that is the only change then just download
and install URLScan by its self.

what to do with a server that was locked down with an earlier version of
iis lockdown? the problem is it wants to roll back to the state before
the first version1.0 or what ever was installed, over a year ago, and
that means i lose all new servers and configuration .... any ideas
apart from installing apache?
