A great deal of effort went into making 6.1 backwards compatible. On 11 sites that I tested, by running the built-in code analyzer in 6.1, all the CF 5.0 sites worked perfectly. In only one site, 7 lines of code required changing to become compatible with 6.1
I cannot really see a reason to run both. If you purchase the MX license, then it is really easy to migrate all to the faster and more efficient MX platform. ================================ This address is virus scanned by ANTIVIR http://www.dwhite.ws mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================ ----- Original Message ----- From: "john cesta" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Server" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, August 05, 2003 1:18 PM Subject: How to upgrade to cfmx and continue on 5.0 | I just called Macromedia trying to get information on cfmx 6.1.
