I have a serious problem of general interest with CF MX 6.1 and I hope someone can help.
Platform : Win 2000 Server SP3, IIS, CF MX 6.1
In the past CF 5.0 Scheduled Tasks were working just fine.
I upgraded to MX 6.1 and nothing works.
I deleted all old scheduled tasks.
I try to create a new (first) scheduled task.
The Administrator Add/Edit Scheduled Task page suggests today as default Duration - Start Date in format Jan 3, 2004.
I accept this date (I mean I don't change it).
Submitting the New Task .... I get an error
"You need to enter a valid Start Date in order to proceed."
Question : The Date format CF suggests is not accepted by CF ?????
I tried all (ALL) possible Date formats.
3/1/2004 , 1/3/2004, 03/01/2004 , 01/03/2004, 03/1/2004, 3/01/2004, 3-1-2004 .... and many more
and I get the same error message
"You need to enter a valid Start Date in order to proceed."
The error has nothing to do with US or European date format
(m/d/yyyy , d/m/yyyy) because
1. In this case the task would be created having start date 1 March 2004 instead of 3 January 2004, it would not be the date I want, but anyway it would be accepted.
2. I get the same error in two machines although they have different Default Locales in Regional settings.
The first has English-United States locale (date format m/d/yyyy and the second has Greek locale (date format d/m/yyyy).
I get the same error message and for TIME Format in
Frequency - Daily Every - Start Time
I used all possible time formats
eg 10:10:10 , 23:10:10 , 10:10:10 AM .....
Nothing is accepted.
Is there any Date and Time format accepted in Scheduled Tasks ???????
or I have to consider it a MX 6.1 Bug (meaning no Scheduled Tasks in MX)
and have one more reason to roll back to CF 5.0 ????
In MM CF Forum there are some threads about the same problem and none from MM team has answered.
It's urgent. Any help ??????
Thanks in advance for your help.
