This isn't a "noob question", but I don't know if anyone'll have an answer
for you. Most people interested in deploying Java applications would install
CFMX on top of a J2EE server, instead of installing the integrated "server
configuration" for CFMX. If you're using CFMX Enterprise, you can install a
complete version of JRun at no additional charge, and I would recommend this
approach.
If you simply want to deploy your WAR on the subset of JRun that comes with
CFMX's integrated "server configuration", there's no documentation on how to
do this. I suspect that you'll have to expand the WAR into its constituent
files, and put them in various places, and edit some of CFMX's configuration
files to boot. Unfortunately, I haven't tried to do this, so I can't help
you much beyond that.
