Yes, check permissions, but also check your syntax.  Linked servers have
extra-picky syntax.


Select *
>From [LinkedServerName].[DatabaseName].[OwnerName].[TableName]
Where blah blah blah


Usually I use [DBO] for OwnerName.

Does the user account that CF's using for its datasource have rights to
query sysservers, or to connect to the linked database?
