Most JDBC drivers come with some documentation. You can copy the necessary *.jar
file to
1. JRun/servers/lib directory (JRun Install)
2. Go to CF admin and configure an "Other Datasource" - think last option of drivers.
3. Refer to the docs that came with the JDBC Driver for correct Driver Class and URL

Hi,
I'm relatively new to ColdFusion and have been given the task of connecting
ColdFusion MX to a Teradata database via JDBC. I've had a good look around
Google and can't find any examples of how to do this. Has anybody on this
list done anything like this before or could someone point me in the right
direction. Note, I have the Teradata JDBC driver installed on the CF box
... but that's about as far as I got :-(
