I have not seen this with the sites we have that run using the
siteminder affiliate.  I have seen issues with not being able to see
all cgi variables.  But never a problem with the siteminder variables
not coming though or invalid information in them.

Subject: ColdFusion and Siteminder - anyone else had this problem?
To: CF-Server <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi there

Currently i'm having the problem that the variable that is normally set

by siteminder when a user is authenticated ('tis populated with the

username) is, for some users at least, containing the entire HTTP header

block!

For example, the following code:

<CFOUTPUT>#CGI.HTTP_SM_USERNAME#</CFOUTPUT>

...should ordinarilly contain a 4-6 character long username value,

however it is now (for some users but not others) containing the entire

HTTP header block of about 3-400 characters, including the name-value pair

of the username field and its value.

Strange - anyone got any ideas? Does it sound like a Siteminder problem

(with the agent) or is it a ColdFusion problem. Im going to update to

6.1 to see if that resolves it. It the meantime, does anyone have any

ideas whatosever - i'm really stuck here.

thanks
