Where do the two entries for the CFIDE system directory point? Do they
both point to the same place? If they do, then yes, you can remove one
of them. Just be careful that you remove the correct one, making sure
you leave the one with the appropriate settings to alloe the admin to
work. If they point to different places, then you need to work out why
this would be. Does the administrator code exist in both places? etc.

The entry for wwwroot disallows access to cfregistry and to all of its
sub-directories. The other entries are to override this and allow
access to the cfregistry tag for the administrator.

Unfortunately, the Coldfusion entries are "system" entries and as such
you are not allowed to remove them.

Potentially, it sounds like you have a problem with your installation
that needs to be addressed. What this problem is I'm not really sure,
but it does seem a little unusual that you have 2 entries for CFIDE. I
think you need to identify which folder these two entries are pointing
at and why. Once you know that, it might become a bit more obvious what
the issue is and why you would have these two entries.

Sorry this isn't more helpful, but hope it puts you on the right track.

Regards

Stephen Moretti
