running CFMX 6.1 UPD1 ENT, win2K, and a phat Oracle 9i box. Say I setup a DSN in CF called fooDSN. Under the advanced datasource settings, i turn off 'Maintain connections...' . I let the app using this DSN out in the wild. After a few hours I browse through the sessions in Oracle and I see a couple inactive sessions connected to oracle from this fooDSN. How is this possible if the DSN was told to NOT maintain connections? SHouldn't they all be killed immediately after use? -- Douglas Knudsen http://www.cubicleman.com this is my signature, like it?
