I've seen it, actually had some scheduled jobs running twice because of 
this. You can duplicate by: 
 1) starting the instance in the services panel. 
2) Go to the JMC and stop that instance. 
3) Go to the JMC panel and start the instance...qucikly. 
 You should then have two jrun.exe in the task manager list. Ah, I see, when 
the JMC is used to stop the instance that is running as a service, windows 
restarts the instance. So if you then start the instance via the JMC BEFORE 
teh windows services completes startgin, you will have two of them. I just 
duplicated this on CF7/JRun upd5/Win 2k.
