I have traced the problem to a bad network cable that was causing dropped packets which would cause dropped connections to the database. This was also causing the active thread count to continually rise.
The dropped connections to the database was not releasing the JRUN connector active thread, therefore causing the active thread count to go higher and higher until it crashed the server. Replacing the cable has solved the dropped packets and all of my problems!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:10:5559 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/10 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:10 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.10 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
