Erm, the only way you can do this kind of thing is if you are running a load
balancer (a content redirector) which you can decide site by site what
ColdFusion version to use.

I would never recommend such an approach however and all migration paths
should be tested on a test and UAT Server respectively before you move to
prod.

I want to migrate our server from CF5 to CFMX and am looking into the
feasability of running the two on the same server side by side on
different ports until all sites are running on CFMX and the shutting
down CF5.
 
Can this be done?  Has anyone done this and what are the issues to look
out for?
