OK so I should have done more digging before writing but I am at a loss now.

Found jvm.config and jvm.bak. Both are accessible and look identical.
Copied .bak over .config and the problem remains.

Any suggestions?

Shawn

I decrypted the java.cfm file, added a bunch of defaults and finally get a
useful message.

The file containing the JVM and Java settings cannot be read.

I add some values and hit update and get the same message back. What file
are these values stored in?

And sorry about dragging along a different post with the original of this.

Shawn

Running 6.1 developers edition on a desktop and getting the above error when
I access the Java and JVM settings (java.cfm) and the Settings Summary
(_jvmdata.cfm).

Any suggestions?
