We have been working on installing the Trial Edition of CFMX 7 on WAS 6 Express, and we are having problems getting the ColdFusion Administrator to run for the first time.
Upon first run after deploying the EAR, we got a "Graphing service is not available" error. We tried resolving that issue by following the steps listed in this Technote: http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=ceb0e519 Now we get this error when trying to start the server: The application server configuration file -Djava.security.auth.login.config=/QIBM/UserData/WebSphere/AppServer/V6/Base/profiles/Fusionapp/properties/properties/.instance.properties is not valid. The reason code is 8. 2 -- Value for property *N is not valid. Specify a valid value. 4 -- Property *N not found. The property must be specified in the configuration file. 6 -- Format of XML document not valid. Correct the configuration file so that it is a valid XML document. 8 -- Unable to access the configuration file. Verify that the path to the configuration file is correct and is accessible by the user profile configured for the application server. I should also specify that this WebSphere server is sitting on an iSeries machine, so it's a pretty non-standard OS. (Can't remember what the OS is, in fact.) Doesn't seem that should matter though... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:10:5857 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/10 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:10 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.10 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
