All,

We are building a seperate API layer for an application which sits in it's
own folder to be called by either a Web Service or a normal component call.
The API does not and will not have any .cfm pages within it's folder struct
- it is literally a loose collection of cfc's.

The API has it's own Application.cfc which I was expecting to be called when
we call the wrapper CFC (the gateway for both the internal createObject
calls and external cfinvoke web service calls.

What I have found is that, as expected, the Application.cfc is called when
the wrapper is called via a Web Service call but it is not called when
called via createObject? Is this expected behaviour? Is it a bug? It is odd
as you would expect both methods to trigger the Application.cfc as they are
effectively doing the same thing - calling the wrapper cfc.

Anyone know why?
