Yeah, in most cases the problem is JRun.dll though. It becomes deadlocked
and only an iisreset fixes it.

I am not sure about the pooling, will have to look into it.

If you can't figure it out soon, and don't have a need for windows
authentication or ASP (.NET) , consider switching to apache.  We've had IIS
issues on high load sites all the time, but none so far with apache.
