Like John Perreault, the method I am invoking is the doGoogleSearch method. For me, the errors do not occur with any regularity. When I run the script that contains the code to create the web service object and the code to invoke the method, sometimes the script works and sometimes it throws an error. If I am using "a URL that doesn't resolve properly" then why wouldn't it always fail? Also, when I get the error my CF server will not process the custom error page that I refer to in my <CFERROR> tag. It returns the correct custom error page to the browser but all the CF code is untouched and for all to see.
