When setting encoding/character sets I tend to use all the following CF
techniques.
<cfprocessingdirective pageencoding="windows-1252" />
<cfset setEncoding("form","windows-1252") />
<cfset setEncoding("url","windows-1252") />
<cfcontent type="text/html; charset=windows-1252" reset="yes" />
<head>
<title>#Attributes.Title#</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252" />
....
</head>
This maybe overkill, but I like to be thorough.
