Unfortunately, we have not. I know that the server is recognizing
certificates because when I do a dump of the CGI variables, it shows that
IIS is able to recognize my cert, find the mapping, and return my
domain/username in the AUTH_USER variable as well as populating all other
relevant client certificate CGI variables with the exception of the
CLIENT_CERT_ENCODED variable.

I created an ASP page and iterated through the
Reqest.ClientCertificatecollection and all of the fields populate
there. So, the problem is not the
server, and/or it's configuration, IMHO. I'm sure the problem has something
to do with ColdFusion, but I have no idea where to begin. I'm going to
contact someone with my company and see if they might be able to lend a
hand. If I can't get anywhere with them, then I might have to try and code
around this issue.

If I get anywhere, I will post whatever I've found. I hope that you and
anyone else will do the same. Until then, I'm just gratified that I'm not
the only one experiencing this issue.

Sincerely,
Robert Eberhart
