Hello, We have a cluster of CFMX 7.02 servers on Windows 2003 with SQL Server 2005 on a separate box.
In front there is a Coyote Equalizer 450 loadbalancer We've had some instability issues the last few days, and after enabling metrics I noticed something that I believe is not normal.. This is a snippet from the log: 28/05 21:36:59 metrics Web threads (busy/total): 0/4 Sessions: 356 Total Memory=524224 Free=466411 28/05 21:37:59 metrics Web threads (busy/total): 0/4 Sessions: 369 Total Memory=524224 Free=457531 28/05 21:38:59 metrics Web threads (busy/total): 0/4 Sessions: 384 Total Memory=524224 Free=426241 28/05 21:39:59 metrics Web threads (busy/total): 0/4 Sessions: 399 Total Memory=524224 Free=462237 .. .. .. 28/05 22:16:59 metrics Web threads (busy/total): 0/4 Sessions: 1013 Total Memory=524224 Free=364342 28/05 22:17:59 metrics Web threads (busy/total): 0/4 Sessions: 1026 Total Memory=524224 Free=343465 28/05 22:18:59 metrics Web threads (busy/total): 0/4 Sessions: 1049 Total Memory=524224 Free=367271 Should the session count continue climbing this way? If not (as I'm guessing is the right answer) - should I look at the loadbalancer, jvm settings or jrun.xml? Is there anything I can do programmatically to "refresh/purge" active/unused sessions?
