Look at the end of the logs located somewhere like c:\cfusionmx\logs Look in the server.log and see if it's logging why it fails.
Does it ever restart or once it fails it's down for the count until you reboot the machine? Have you also checked the event logs on the machine to see if it's a third party ap that coldfusion is having a problem with. Do you have and CFX (java or c++) tags running. These are sometimes the culprit if you installed a demo or trial and you forgot about it. Sometimes when they time out they cause havoc.
