Funny you should ask.

I indeed found an application.cfm in the /templates directory. Deleted that,
but the problem persists. The remaining application.cfm is in the root and
looks like:
=======================================================
<cfapplication name="somename" clientmanagement=True>

<!--- sql server login info --->
<cfset ODBC_Datasource="abc">
<cfset ODBC_Username="abc">
<cfset ODBC_Password="123">

<!--- login timeout (in seconds) --->
<cfset TimeOut=1200>
=======================================================

Any strange application.cfm templates in the folder or a higher folder?
