Greetings all!
This is a tough one (I would like somebody to prove me wrong here).
Situation: We currently use CF and am moving to ASP (I know, please hold =
the boo's :)
We need to migrate slowly and let some of our CF components exist with =
the new ASP=20
components. We are having a tough time dealing with the security issues =
surrounding using=20
both platforms. Currently we manually manage sessions through a SQL =
table. Our intention=20
is to become a ASP exclusive website eventually and would like to use =
session variables
to manage the security.=20
Question:
Can/How do ASP session variables talk to CF session variables? We want =
to avoid appending sessionId's
on the URL if possible. Is there a way we can make this a secure =
environment using CF and ASP without
the hastle of A) using a DB table to control the sessions, and B) having =
to "fake" logins in the background..
Thanks for your input!
Mike Fredrick
