We use perforce www.perforce.com and love it. But it doesn't integrate with
CFStudio as far as I can tell but it doesn't bother me one bit. We switched
to it after some of our C++ developers noticed similar "anomalies" that were
actually "disasters". Unlimited amount of people can edit the same file at a
time - when you submit your changes it can automatically integrate the
differences (it does a pretty good job of it) or can show you where your
code and someone else's is different. You can view differences between the
last revision and what you currently have etc. I couldn't recommend it
enough, frankly.
You can download a demo from the web site. It might take a bit to get used
to and understand, but it works very well. Our C++ developers have been
using it for 3+ years now and I haven't heard a complaint from them which is
amazing from that bunch.
