trust me, you will *not* be happy with the results if you remove the
function that fixes the resize bug. it is there for a reason.
unfortunately, there is no way around the resize bug except to reload the
page on resize. it should *not* blow away the default form values as
delivered from the browser. the only form values that should be affected
are those entered by the user previous to resizing the browser.
i have no experience with the brainjar script so i don't know how easy or
difficult it is to set up, but i do know that hiermenus from
webreference.com are quite easy to set up and you can even use a tool
provided by them to create the menus for you if you have little or no
javascript experience.
