Hi,

how does cfapplication decide to iterate the cfid variable?

for example:

I have default client storage in admin set to cookie.

I have cookies shut off on ns4.7

when i refresh and output client.cfid, it iterates upward (1, refresh, 2,
refresh, 3, refresh, etc.)

if i delete the cookie from my server in ie5.1, close it, and restart it.
the client.cfid variable starts 1 after where netscape left off.

How does it do that, and where? Must be coming from the server, yeah? is
there a registry entry for every applation that knows what the last cfid
given out is?

so then how do you reset an application? the number stays the same even if
you change the name of the application in cfapplication.

thanks,
jon bocock.
