There is a box configured here that uses host headers and SSL and seems to function 
just fine.  Is it an issue of can't  or shouldn't run SSL over host headers? 

(or do I need to review the NT server install and network dude?)

I can't remember if there is a limit, but you should be aware that any site
using SSL *MUST* have its own IP address.  Just a little FYI, in case you
didn't know.
