If you're unable to connect to any classes, other than an Allaire class,
perhaps when you installed an Allaire product it damaged COM information in
some way. I can't imagine how that would happen, but here are some things
you can try.
1. Try calling the custom object from ASP.
2. Unregister & reregister the problem component, then try again with
CFOBJECT.
3. Download and register a freeware/shareware ASP component of your choice.
Try calling it from ASP, then calling it from CF.
