Mapguide by Autodesk is by far the easiest to develop around and most
interactive. It also comes with cfserver and studio in the box. A little
pricey, but in the long run with development cost, it is probably the best
thing around. Plus the client gets vectors to manipulate, not just images
like mapquest.com. That gives you the opprotunity to add a lot more
interactivity in your app.

Check it out. I think you can download eval versions still.

Subject: GIS Solutions For CF

I have a need to implement a GIS solution using CF. I am using the TMS
system from the Census bureau now, but need to have something a bit more
refined. As I recall several folks have done things with MapObjects or
MapInfo. I am looking to serve up maps via the web with locations derived
from databases served by CF.

I am looking for suggestions as to how to proceed, ie: what is the best map
server tool, at the best price, etc.

Thanks.

Dave
