I have yet to install CF Express, but...
It doesn't look like it has scheduled tasks (no <cfschedule> tag)
As far as I know it supports multiple datasource, (Only ODBC I think)

You don't need to use CF's Scheduler to schedule things, you can use
Microsoft AT (it comes with windows)  It adds a GUI to "my computer" when
you install IE 5.  You can map your task to cfml.exe (or whatever the
cfexpress engine is called) to run CF templates.
