Wrong.... there is indeed a way around the double login.... but it ain't
easy
It involves changing all client vars to session vars... and some other
significant code changes... I did it for a client's custom version once,
and therefore can't share the code, but maybe someday soon I will have time
to convert a "standard" version of Forums to do this.
