I would suggest that anyone planning to offer hosting services check out
what Intermedia offers in the way of control and try to go them one better.
Here's what I've experienced with them:

I've never seen any of my sites down nor had any complaints from customers

Unlimited, set them up yourself.

CF accounts start at $49.95. Add SQL7 for $50. Additional features
available.

Great system.

Webtrends.

Immediate setup, actually watch the process progressing and have immediate
access within 10 minutes of starting the order.
> real time datasource set up
Unlimited Datasources, set them up yourself.
> static IP (for development and testing without a domain)
Single static IP, up to twelve domains allowed per account ($5 per
additional domain), each domain can have up to 13 third-level domains at no
charge whatever.domain.com).
> phone (no more than 5 minutes on hold) or chat support
Only needed to contact them once via email to ask that CFFILE be enabled on
my account...taken care of immediately. A friend has spoken with them on the
phone and gotten immediate response. They do offer a support forum but I've
never used it.
