Please help: Sorting search results

Greetings,
I know I've seen this before but have never implemented it:  Search results
are displayed in tablular form and the <TH>HEADINGS</TH> are db column
names that are hyperlinked and when clicked they resort the results by that
db column.  I've looked all over and can't find the code for this.  Any
suggestions- much appreciated.
