Greg,
My earlier postings were using Word 97. I just upgraded to 2000 - what a
nightmare of a process. I recorded a macro to save a file as a web page
(File | Save as Web Page) and I see that the FileFormat is
"wdFormatHTML". Can you give that a try?
This page on the MSDN site has relevant info (beware of word wrap):
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q224/0/66.ASP
It looks nasty - apparently you cannot count on a given FileFormat name
having the same numeric value on different computers.
